Transform your Minisite Into a Killer Minisite

Did you know that your mini site is one of your biggest cash machines for your Internet marketing business?

It’s like a template of cash generating machines, each one of them, if you know how to play your cards right.

There are many Internet marketers who know how to cut and paste mini sites like crazy, but few who truly understand the art of pulling traffic and mesmerizing their prospects into ‘opting in’ or buying products. The key to success lies in the copy and when I talk about web copy, I don’t mean just words per se.

Writing good copy is one of the best ways to transform your mini site into a killer mini site and you do not need to be a top notch copywriter like Michael Fortin or Jo Han Mok in order to pull it off.

Here are the tips on how it can be done:

* Headlines are always the most important aspect of the mini site because if no one feels compelled to read the rest of the copy, you are simply wasting your time. There are a couple of ‘magic words’ that people use to pull in readers like crazy. Words like discover, easily, magically, quickly are examples of magic words that entices readers to know more.

* Besides your headline, you have to write a good sub headline as well. The sub headline is usually benefit driven while the headline is ‘shock’ driven. Write down the benefits of your product and size it up in 3 sentences.

* If you do not know what words to write, you can always pick and swipe headlines from other people’s websites. When you swipe, make sure you do not copy the entire thing but try and relate the headlines in the context for your readers.

* Last but not least you can always count on good web graphics to sell your products even if you can’t write your way out of a paper bag.

The key to having a successful mini site lies in having relevant mini site graphics. You need to match your theme wisely and have it match with your product. Do not make the mistake of getting lousy mini site banners which looks ‘cookie cutter’. Good mini site designs are performance driven Internet marketing web graphics – similar to web copy. They will do most of the selling for you and you will know it well because a picture usually speaks a thousand words.

Using Web Graphic Will Increasing Your Conversion Rate

Doing an Internet marketing business is primarily all about making money. If you are not making money in your online business, then you are not running a business but merely a hobby. With that said, your primary concern for your business, besides driving traffic is to make sure that your website, mini site or blog converts well for your product. Failure to optimize your conversion rates will result in leaving lots of money on the table.

So what are the key factors in increasing your conversion rates?
One of the ways is to focus strongly on marketing graphics or web graphics. Web graphics are one of the ways to increasing your conversion rate besides using white copy. Traditionally, mail order direct response copy is strong enough to get people to subscribe or respond to your product in the real world (offline), but now, in the web 2.0 or new age user generated content age where people are constantly bombarded with websites and new offers, you must do whatever you can to stand out from amongst the crowd.

Besides branding yourself as an expert, focusing on building your web graphics will help you to send a message to your readers that will assist in increasing your conversion rates. Here are a couple of tips how you can pull it off:

·    One of the most effective methods of getting your readers or prospects to buy is to use the word – ‘click here’. Click here graphics are available in abundance. You can easily find hundreds of web graphics that will help entice readers to click on the button and buy your product, pay the money or input their email addresses as a subscriber. The more ‘pronounced’ the button, the better.
·    A good mini site header is critical in marketing your product as well. It works like a good attention grabbing headline similar to white copy. Make sure your template for your website is similar to the color or theme of the product you are promoting in orders to match the color scheme properly.
·    You can also spread out your graphics for your headlines, your testimonials, your guarantee frames or seals and your other marketing graphics throughout your sales letter or your squeeze page. The more distinct your graphics (or the more it stands out), the better it is for you. You can also add videos as well.
By employing the right kind of graphics for your site, you can shave off years of practice when it comes to effective copywriting.

What Is A Direct Response Website?

Direct response marketing is hailed as one of the most profitable cash cows in the Internet marketing industry. Back then, before the Internet graced our computer screens, direct response already existed in the form of mail order – as a physical counterpart to today’s sales letters and landing pages.

According to Wikipedia, it is also defined as a form of marketing designed to solicit a direct response which is specific and quantifiable.

Direct response is also inseparably connected to copywriting, which both serve the same function of soliciting a direct response from the prospect or the buyer – which usually results in collecting a monetary transaction or soliciting the contact details like their primary email address, or their first and last name.

One of the best ways to accentuate the power of a direct response website is to use a mini site. A mini site is simply a website that has the primary function of targeting prospects in a particular niche, a niche such as Internet marketing or niche marketing.

A killer mini site is one with really tight copy that entices prospects to scroll down or immediately respond to the offers in the sales letter or the squeeze page. Unlike a traditional website which usually serves more as an informational hub, mini sites get the job done by getting soliciting the right kind of information. (Sort of using the words – “Click Here” as an effective way to get people to take action immediately)

Here are a couple of tips on how to roll out better direct response marketing methods for your mini site:

    * Always make sure the mini site banners you are using are as customized and personalized as possible. With countless websites on the net constantly demanding your attention, your site must stand out from the crowd. People love the personal touch and when you can show that to your prospects, it will increase your conversion or opt-in rates.

    * Try and pick a color that is matching the product you are selling or the affiliate program that you are promoting. If you are able to have a matching theme, you will be able to get better response as well (like blending AdSense with the right colors – the same principle applies).

    * Getting the right domain name also helps because people do judge a site by what they type into the URL box as well.

    * Take your time and choose good mini site templates because not all mini site designs are created equal.

What the Differences between a Mini site and a Website

Mini sites are very popular tools that are often hailed as the right tool to conquer many niches in Internet marketing or niche marketing.

But how do mini site and their mini site designs differentiate a webmaster from using traditional websites? Isn’t their HTML structure consisting of the same code? The easiest way to look at it is more of the primary functionality rather than the other aesthetic differences.

Here are a few examples:

  1. Fundamentally, mini Sites are different from normal websites functionally because one serves the purpose of soliciting a direct response action. For most direct response marketing campaigns, their sole purpose is to solicit an action in return – often in the form of transacting a purchase of some sort or the contact details of the prospect such as email addresses, names and sometimes, even phone numbers. Most traditional websites do not focus on direct response as most of the time, they serve as information centers.
  2. Mini site designs also differentiate themselves their traditional counterparts by offering webmasters the opportunity to churn out mini sites at a significantly faster pace. Because they are easy to create and they follow a fixed template, you can easily conjure up a profitable money machine easily once you identify the niche. Most mini site designs come with good customizable headers, footers and themed backgrounds to help you to identify easily with your prospects and buyers.
  3. Another interesting feature about mini site design is the fact that most direct response copy compresses the line of text into an ‘easy to read’ column. Part of sales psychology is to get your prospect to read every single line of the letter by making sure that their eyes do not go all over the place (the same way as email marketing – why people prefer to limit their written content to 55 characters or so in every line). In addition to that, getting your prospect to scroll down ‘exercises’ their finger so that they are more inclined to take action and buy or opt-in – thus serving the primary function of direct response marketing once again.

There are many different kinds of mini site designs sold on the market (which are significantly cheaper than hiring a website designer). Some of them are more ‘in your face’ oriented while others give a soothing feeling that slowly eases the prospect to buy the product. In essence, customization is the key to giving your mini site the right response you will need from your prospect.

Using Web Copy To Increase Your Online Sales Exponentially

Web copy is one of the most profitable businesses on the Internet and most likely, the world.

Never have direct response copywriting achieved such unprecedented sales in history thanks to the direct response nature of web copy and instant, payment collection methods over the Internet.

Learning to harness the power of web copy is the single, most lucrative skill you can use by turning traffic into instant money. Here are a number of ways you can use the power of web copy and rapidly increase your online sales easily.

You must always begin your web copy with an elevator pitch. Your elevator pitch is your sales pitch that is summarized and easy for the casual user to understand in a nutshell.

In your headline, you must always state a unique benefit and why the reader must read on to find out more about your product.

Next you must explain the pain behind the problem. The more you aggravate the pain, the more likely you are able to empathize with your prospect and connect with them on an emotional level.

Once you have ‘hit their hot button’, you will be able to pitch your offer by offering the right solution for their problem. But remember, human beings are lazy, so you must always enforce a call to action in order to get them to take action and whip out their credit cards.

Here are additional tips on how to increase the conversions of your web copy:

* Always show proof of your credibility. With many scams running all over the Internet, the need to show your credibility becomes critical. Social proof is one that always sells as well as income screenshots.

* Show results of successful product users. This works even well when you use audio or video testimonials.

* Always look for people who are in a position of authority to endorse your products. Well known Internet marketing experts with credibility will be very helpful.

* You can also give away, short, sample copies too.

* Always tell stories in your web copy because it gets people reading.

* Reason with your audience on how it should and should not work. Show them evidence and draw conclusions based on it.

* Let them know about the limited copies you are selling and why they should snap up the offer as quickly as possible,

* Always summarize what they are getting, why it is worth their time to invest into it and how easy it is for them to download their package instantly.

The key is to continually test and tweak your web copy and track the results in order to get the best effect.

Optimizing Your Mini-site Design

A Mini-site can be used for various purposes. Depending on your need, you will need to optimize it for the right result. It could be used for a standard website, a squeeze page for lead capturing, an affiliate signup page for JV partners, An AdSense template, membership site or for your sales copy.

The first thing you need to do in order to optimize your mini-site design is to match your main product or theme with the banner. For example, if you are selling an E-book, try and incorporate the graphics in the E-book into your mini-site banner and make them look ‘themed’.

A good mini-site design can also contain the domain name of the theme within the banner itself. The use of good fonts will give you a good idea on how to edit your PSD file and create an instant, dashing design optimized to draw in traffic.

You can do the same for the footer as well. A footer will give the reader the same feel of the entire site and you do not need huge graphics there – just simply use a short title or re-emphasize the domain name.

Now that you have built a good mini-site for yourself, you will need to put them to good use. You see, in business, profits and margins are everything and time is money as well. You can easily optimize different mini-sites to create multiple profit funnels for any niche businesses.

Take private label rights products for example. When you have a large collection of PLR products, you shouldn’t keep them on your hard drive. You must always try and monetize them and it doesn’t take a very long time to set it up.

Firstly, check if the PLR packages you have purchased come with a sales letter. If it has a mini-site with it, then just upload them onto your server. If it doesn’t come with a mini-site but you have a sales letter, all you need to do is change the fonts on your existing mini-sites and simply key in the word or font to sell your product.

There are a number of ways you can get mini-sites created:

* The manual way is to create one yourself

* The second way is to get software that will help you to generate a series of mini-site templates you can customize.

* The third way is to pay a graphics designer to create one for you (for a fee)

* And the last way is to purchase it from a retailer who merchandises it for Internet/niche markets.
